KCL Engineering founder, Kris Kunze, has been named to Building Design + Construction Magazine's 2018 40 Under 40 list. Each year BD+C honors rising stars in the AEC industry making impressive contributions to their company, the industry, and their communities.
BD+C staff introduced this year's class referencing 'an MEP engineer who co-founded a cycling event that raises money to fight human trafficking,' referring to Kris and his involvement in Break the Cycle 200. This is the second recognition for Kris in 2018. The Des Moines Business Record also included Kris in their annual Forty Under 40 class. His leadership also played a role in additional KCL Engineering accolades this year including awards for best workplace and fastest growing private companies from Inc. Magazine.
As BD+C notes in their profile, Kris' accomplishments worthy of this recognition include founding KCL Engineering, co-founding Denovo, spending time with his family, and love of motorcycle trips with his father.
